This boutique Sydney charter vessel, State of the Art, has hosted the most recognisable and beloved celebrity clientele, including HRH Prince Charles, Robert De Niro, Will Ferrel, Megan Gale.

This elegant vessel features large comfortable lounge suites, polished timber floors, commercial galley (kitchen), modern surround sound audio system, 32-inch TV with cables for PowerPoint presentations and a large cool room stocked with your favourite drinks.

The commercial style kitchen comfortably caters for large social or corporate occasions and is available with a BYO option. The main aft deck features a large dining table for 10 passengers, offering a superb alfresco dining experience. The upper deck has amazing panoramic views of Sydney Harbour with a small deck area and intimate lounge for socialising. The spacious bow is accessible while anchored and equipped with a comfortable sunbed.

State of the Art is perfect for company team events, product launches, corporate entertaining, meetings, Christmas parties, birthdays, family gatherings, wedding receptions, engagement parties, Bucks and Hens parties and a wide range of exclusive events tailored to your exact specifications.

An experienced and friendly crew have an eye for detail and are more than happy to meet your every requirement. State of the Art is a fully licensed vessel and is available for a minimum of 3 hours.

Boat Hire Fees

November–March: $950 per hour (min 4 hours)

April–October: $850 per hour (min 4 hours)

Christmas Day, Boxing Day, New Year’s Day, and Australia Day: $1,250 per hour (minimum 4 hours). A 50% surcharge applies to waitstaff fees and all food and beverages orders on these dates.

New Year’s Eve: $25,000 BYO charter or $31,500 with Food & Beverages. 6:00pm-1:00am (7hrs). Rate based on 25 guests (additional guests up to 35 @ $900 per person)

Other Public Holidays: A surcharge of 20% applies for all other public holidays not listed above

Overnight Getaway (max. 2 persons): $7,000 inclusive of wharf fees, food, beverages and waitstaff (6:00pm–10:00am, not available on Saturdays in December)

Any Other Fees

Wharf Fees: 

  • $50 per wharf
  • Manly and Middle Harbour pick-up or drop-off incurs a $200 surcharge per wharf
  • Watsons Bay pick-up or drop-off incurs a $50 surcharge per wharf

Waitstaff:

  • 1-10 guests: 1 waitstaff required
  • 10+ guests: 3 waitstaff required
  • Plus 1 additional wait staff for Bar on Consumption
  • $300 per waitstaff for 4 hours (additional hours at $60 per hour)

BYO Food:

  • $250 flat-rate

BYO Beverages:

  • $20 per person

Pre-access:

  • For drop-off of food, beverages, equipment, and decorations
  • $100 per hour on application

Aquatic Toys:

  • Lilypad: Complimentary
  • Stand-up Paddle Boards: $50 each
  • Floating Island: $100
